great stay but needs updating

my previous stay at a different hotel in south padre island wasn't great, but this place really turned things around. it was cozy and well-located, just a short walk to the beach. the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome during our date night.

Rooms need major updates!!! The shower pressure is pathetic, the towels are scratchy and stained, and the overall cleanliness gives a lot to be desired!!! A refrigerator would be a welcome addition!!!

Helpful staff in a great location

I had a solo trip and took advantage of a $50 room rate. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the towels in my room had dark stains, so I recommend bringing your own for a better experience.

Not great, but it served its purpose

The room was clean enough,, and just had what I needed. Had a shower that worked which is enough honestly. sometimes you just need a place to crash after a long day.

I had the BEST time lounging by the sparkling outdoor swimming pool under the sun! 💦 The beach access was a dream, just a few steps away from the hotel. The vibe was so relaxed and welcoming. it truly felt like my little paradise! 🏖️
